Lady Rockets Advance to Marlington

Congratulations to the Lady Rockets basketball team on beating Coventry 34-33 in the first round of the tournament. With the win the Rockets now have two seasons in a row with double digit wins and a tournament win. The Rockets play Marlington on Thursday. Come out and cheer them on!

Senior Night

The Lady Rockets lost a tough game on Saturday to the Ravenna Ravens but had a great celebration for our seniors. Congratulations to Maddy Rice and Allison Blondeaux on improving the Streetsboro girls basketball program in their four years with their hard work and commitment. 

Lady Rockets move to 8-3 in the PTC

he Lady Rockets move to 8-3 in the PTC after a win over the Field Falcons last night 50-40. The Rockets had 7 players get on the scoreboard last night Bolyard-20 Dial-8 Neff-7 Rice-6 Davis-5 Chima-3 Burks-1. 

Lady Rockets fall Short to Tallmadge

The Lady Rockets faced a tough Tallmadge team on Saturday and fell just a little short in a 43-37 loss. Rachel Bolyard led the Rockets in scoring with 19 points followed by Elizabeth Neff with 10 points. The Rockets are in action again at home tonight against the Field Falcons.

Girls get 4th win in a row!


Wednesday night the girls basketball team defeated the Coventry Comets 46-41 to get their 4th win in a row. The Lady Rockets are now currently tied for 3rd place in the PTC! Elizabeth Neff led the Rockets in scoring with 13 points and Breannda Davis chipped in with a season high 8 points. The Rockets host Tallmadge on Saturday.

Girls defeat Springfield

Lady Rockets with a good win against Springfield on Saturday. Final score 53-47. Rachel Bolyard led the way w/ 19 pts; Dawn Dial chipped in 13; Maddy Rice w/9 & Elizabeth Neff had 8. Breannda Davis hit 2 clutch free throws to clinch win.

Clear Fork Invitational

The wrestling team finished 2nd at the Clear Fork Invitational Saturday.  Hank Carey, Dom Carone and Chris Anderson were first place winners.  Tyler bodovetz second, and Tyler Dick, Caiden Rodtgers and Mike Paden finished 3rd.  Hank Care was names most outstanding wrestler of the meet!   Congratuatlions to all! 

Lady Rockets move to 3-2 overall!

Over the weekend the Lady Rockets basketball team moved 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the PTC with a win over Woodridge 54-47. A huge third quarter helped the Rockets take the lead and they hit just enough free throws in the fourth quarter to hold on. Leading scorers were Rachel Bolyard with 25 points and Dawn Dial with 13 points. 

Lady Rockets Defend Home Court

The Lady Rockets played their first conference game last night at home and defended their court with a 41-18 win over Springfield. Solid defense held the Spartans to only 8 points through 3 quarters. It was a great team effort on offense as 8 players got on the scoreboard. Great game ladies!

Lady Rockets Open with win against Crestwood!

Last night the girls had their first home game of the season against the Crestwood Red Devils. The Lady Rockets got off to a slow start but eventually got it going and won 46-31. The leading scorers for the night were Rachel Bolyard with 24 points and Dawn Dial with 10. The Lady Rockets have another home game Saturday against Rootstown. Hope to see you there!

Lady Rockets fall short to Kent

The Lady Rockets fought very hard last night but came up short against Kent in a 39-50 loss. The Rockets got off to a tough start but were able to cut the lead to 6 in the fourth quarter and make it exciting. Rachel Bolyard led the Rockets with 19 points followed by Breannda Davis with 6. The Lady Rockets will face crestwood Wednesday in their home opener. Hope to see you there!
