ANNUAL NOTIFICATION TO THE PUBLIC

To Whom It May Concern:

As required by the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), Streetsboro City School District has had all our facilities inspected for friable asbestos. AHERA requires that notification be given annually to each building regarding activities involving asbestos in your respective building in the district.  Streetsboro City Schools has had asbestos management plans prepared for all school buildings in the district.  These plans are available for your inspection Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Central Services Building, 1891 Annalane Drive or by calling your school main office to make an appointment during normal school hours.

Two semi-annual surveillance inspections were conducted in each school building as required by AHERA regulations.  This year we had our Triennial AHERA inspection.  At this time, the conditions of any asbestos were noted along with any change in conditions that may have occurred.
