Streetsboro Middle School Students Win Again

Nine students at Streetsboro Middle School won the 2015 Ohio Civil Rights Commission Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Multimedia Contest.  This annual art, writing, and multimedia contest, is open to students in grades 6-12.  This year’s theme was “What are you doing or what will you do to communicate your dream(s) to your school/community, and build a legacy that will influence and inspire others to take similar action?”  The school had students enter in all three categories.  The nine students each recorded their response to the theme, and with the assistance of Mrs. Terri Betts, put the scenes into an 4 ½ minute video.  This is the second year in a row that the middle school has won this prestigious award.  We are so proud of our students
