Mrs. Betts wins an award

In a ceremony at the offices of the Ohio Civil Rights Commission on Thursday, February 26th, Mrs. Betts, a teacher at the Middle School, received the Excellence in Service Award.  This award is given once yearly, to an educator for “dedication to education, for believing in children, for guiding through example, for inspiring with passion, for living through loving, for leaving an indelible mark on the future, and for touching the human soul.”  Mrs. Betts accepted the award at a special ceremony also recognizing 9 students at the middle school for their award winning Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. video.  CONGRATULATIONS!

Tuesday, March 24, 2015 – Streetsboro High School Construction Project Presentation

Parents and Community Members please join us on Tuesday March 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Defer Intermediate cafeteria for the community presentation of the High School Construction Project .


The Streetsboro City School District Board of Education will also hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. in the Henry Defer Cafeteria, 1895 Annalane Dr., Streetsboro, OH  44241.  The purpose of the meeting is to update the community on the High School Building Project.

Middle School Weekly Announcements

December 8, 2014 – December 19, 2014

  • The Middle School Friends of Rachel club is currently collecting new hats and gloves for families in need in Streetsboro through December 18.  All donations are welcome.

  • The Middle School Diversity club is collecting spare change each day through Tuesday, December 9th.  All proceeds will be used to by toys for kids in need in Streetsboro.

  • MS Winter Sports pictures will be on Wednesday, December 10th at 2:45..

  • It's time to hit the slopes again!  Register now for Streetsboro Ski and Snowboard Club!  Registration is now open until December 18th for middle and high school students interested in joining the Streetsboro Ski and Snowboard Club. The Club ski's at Brandywine on Thursday evenings.  There is a limit of 30 students to join, which will be on a first come basis. If interested, students should register online, and turn in medical forms and fees to Mr. Yeager at the high school.  Forms may be picked up in the middle school office.
