Absence and Tardy Procedures

Please call the school before 9:00 AM to let us know if your child will not be in school.  You may call during school hours or you may leave a message any time at (330) 422-2400 x1 (Wait Primary) or (330) 626-4900 (Streetsboro Elementary).  Please state your child's name, teacher's name and reason for the absence.

Children are tardy if they arrive after 8:45 AM (Wait Primary) and 8:40 AM (Streetsboro Elementary).  Parents will bring their child into the lobby and sign in.

Please send in a note with your pick-up time.  Students will be called to the offie when you arrive.  Please avoid pick up times between 2:30 and 3:00.

Parent-School Communication

All teachers have email and voicemail.  Parents may use email, voicemail or a hand-written note to communicate with teachers.

Medical Concerns

If your child has a chronic health condition such as severe allergies requiring an Epi-Pen; asthma needing an inhaler; diabetes; or anything you feel needs to be brought to the attention of the school nurse, please contact the school at (330) 422-2400 (Wait) or (330) 626-4900 (Streetsboro Elementary).

Student Medication

Any student requiring medication must have a Medication Form on file at the school.  This includes both Prescription and over-the-counter medications (both to be signed by a physician).

For a complete description of school and district policies and procedures, please see the Student/Parent Handbook.  A copy of the handbook is available on our website.

Students may purchase a lunch for $2.75.  Menus are sent home every month.  If packing a lunch, students may purchase milk separately for $0.50.  We encourage parents to use the online Meal Pay Plus system to pre-pay student lunches.  Visit our district website to access the online pay system.
